Google API Services
When you connect a Google account, Capwave requests only the following OAuth scopes:
openid,userinfo.email,userinfo.profile– to sign you in to Capwave.calendar.readonly,calendar.events.readonly– to read your Google Calendar so Capwave can surface meeting and event context.gmail.readonly– to read your Gmail so Capwave can analyze investor and fundraising communications.
We do not request write, send, or delete access.
Capwave’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models.
Use of AI Models
Capwave uses AI models to analyze content you provide – including Gmail and Calendar data you authorize – and to surface insights within the application.
We use OpenAI (GPT models) as a sub-processor. OpenAI processes Capwave data under its API Data Usage Policy, which does not use API inputs or outputs to train OpenAI’s models.
To request that your content not be used to improve Capwave’s AI features, email privacy@capwave.ai.
User Choices
Users can:
- Adjust browser cookie settings
- Opt-out of promotional emails to privacy@capwave.ai
- Disable targeted advertising (requires cookies enabled)
- Exercise state-specific privacy rights
- Revoke Google account access at any time via your Google Account permissions page
